PENIQUE PRODUCTIONS, UNUSUAL TEMPORARY ARCHITECTURES
Penique Productions is an international collective of artists with various creative backgrounds that collaborate to create temporary structures, from Spain, Mexico, Italy, Brazil and lately Paris’ Fashion Inspired by the work of Christo and Jeanne-Claude, the inflatable acts as a simplification of the space that unifies the shapes and textures, manufacturing a new and unique atmosphere. The balloons are made from regular patterns and adjusted to the specific characteristics of each location, squeezing vibrant swells of color into the tight spaces. The concept aims to build a relationship between fullness and emptiness, triggering a dialogue with the space it briefly inhabits.

MOMO AT THE SOUKS, PARADISE OF CURIOSITY WITH A THOUSAND FLAVORS
Faithfull to his origins, restaurateur Mourad Mazouz (404, Derriere, Momo and Sketch) has discovered in Beirut, the perfect fusion between tradition and modernity in a Mediterranean city.
In Lebanon, anything seems possible and for this reason he has decided to make it the setting of MATS. Located on top of the jewelry souks in the center of Beirut, MATS is comfortably situated overlooking the bustling streets, or “tohu bohu” of the Lebanese capital.
In collaboration with Annabel Karim Kassar, and Violaine Jantet, Mourad Mazouz has created a restaurant and café, combining vintage furniture, designer pieces and made to measure fixtures all situated within an incredible suspended garden. MATS is a project brought to you by Beirut Hospitality Company.
