The Nathan D. Rosen Museum Gallery invites artists to submit entries to the Juried Art Show. Original works of two- or three-dimensional art will be juried and exhibited February 28-March 26, 2010. Each artist may submit a maximum of three works of art – not limited to any one category. Entries must be original works of art created by the artist within the last three (3) years and not previously exhibited in the Nathan D. Rosen Museum Gallery. Entries must not be larger than six feet in any direction and may not weight more than 100 pounds.
Awards:
Best in Show – $1,000
Craft Art Award – $500
Three Awards of Merit – $250 each
Honorable mentions will also be presented

Juror: Judge Jorge H. Santis: Born in Havana, Cuba, Jorge H. Santis left the Island at age 16 and settled with his family in Yonkers, New York. Santis earned a bachelor's degree in Spanish Literature and a master's degree in History of Art from Hunter College. In 1977, he began to work at the Museum of Art in Fort Lauderdale. During his 29 year tenure, Santis held several positions, including Assistant Curator of Education and Registrar. As Curator since 1991, he mounted most of the museum's permanent collection shows and exhibitions based on Latin American Art. Santis has served as a regional panelist for the South Florida Consortium and the Florida State Art Fellowships. He is a co-author of three monographs–"William Glackens," "Breaking Barriers" and "Unbroken Ties."
