Colors of Life announces the Fourth edition of Colors of Life 2011 International Photo Contest: An International Photo Contest representing an opportunity for photographers worldwide (professionals, students and amateurs) to submit and exhibit their works in the United States and internationally. Theme: A dream in color. Open to all photographers 18 years and older. Any form of photographic medium, black and white, color, non-silver, computer-manipulated, etc., is eligible. Artists should feel free to interpret this year’s theme in the broadest sense to allow full range of their creativity.
The work of the participants selected by Colors of Life will be submitted to a jury of leading international gallery owners, academics and artists. A collective exhibition of 35 selected finalist photographs in the Competition will be held at: The Embassy of Guatemala in Washington DC, November – December 2010, Capital One Corporate Gallery, Richmond VA, January – March 2011, and Art Works, Richmond VA, April – May 2011. 1st prize of the Competition will receive US$ 1,250.00 – 2nd prize of the Competition will receive US$ 900.00 – 3rd prize of the Competition will receive US$ 550.00 – Two honorable mentions will be chosen from the remaining finalist photographs.
